It’s the weekend (finally) so let’s catch up! This week was a bit of a long one. I’ve been trying to contact local tree services to set up appointments to get quotes for all the work that we need done. Thanks, Spring Snow. I’m not sure what it is with service professionals, but I feel like it’s ridiculously hard to get appointments. I mean, this is supposed to be your business and how you make money so why are you not contacting people back?
Anyone else deal have this frustration?
So at some point this summer, I hope we can get all this tree damage taken care of.
In the meantime, plans for this weekend include sangria and grilling. I have to work tomorrow, the day we normally grill, so plans are getting shifted and we’re making an afternoon grilling date today. On the menu, steaks, chicken, hot dogs, and veggies. That way there’s plenty of food made and ready to go for the rest of the weekend.
I’m also going to try and make some fun summery sangria to sip on this weekend. Our raspberry bush is actually producing a lot of berries so those are definitely going in.
Plus I need to seriously sit down and plan our meals for next week and weekend. Next week is our anniversary (WHOOO!) and I love putting together lots of yummy special eats for us the week.
