Shopping For Groceries Online

Grocery ShoppingIf you’ve never shopped for groceries online before or even thought about using a subscription service, now might be a great time to consider it. This will reduce the trips that you need to make to the store all while supporting small businesses and supporting your local farmers and producers. So where can you shop and what can you get? Below is a list of places to check out broken down into categories.

MEAT AND SEAFOOD

Butcher Box is a meat delivery service that offers up quality beef, pork, chicken, and some seafood. You can get it delivered how often you like, pick the size of the box, and even customize the cuts if you want. Five Marys Farms has pork, beef, and lamb. Follow them on instagram if you want to see exactly how the meat is raised and treated! Also if you check out her highlight links, she links to other farms that also have delivery services. Some even offering up cheeses, poultry products, sausages and more. US Wellness Meats has a huge variety of offerings including sausages and things like brats and liverwurst. The Simple Grocer has clean meat options like hams, sausages, and some deli meat. They are gluten free and sugar free. Vital Choice offers up sustainable seafood options along with fish oil supplements. Also do a quick search in your local area to see what CSA shares are available to you. Many places offer up meat, egg, and milk shares with local pickup locations.  

VEGGIES

LocalHarvest.org to search for CSA and veggie delivery in your area. Imperfect Foods has a veggie and fruit delivery box. You can pick between organic or conventionally grown produce. Farm Box Direct organic produce delivery box. Also doing a search for a local Co-Op and checking in with your local farmer’s markets can also help you locate some local sources for produce.

PANTRY ITEMS

Thrive Market has almost everything you need. There are so many options and you can shop by diet if needed, like gluten free, Paleo, and Keto. Anthony’s Goods has tons of options for panty staples and they also come in larger bulk packaging. Matcha Haven for ceremonial grade matcha in bulk. (!) Wild Foods for some supplements, protein powder, mushroom drinks, and more. Vital Proteins for collagen and collagen products.
