Wild mood swings, extreme fatigue, and weight gain

My emotions were a wild intense roller coaster of the likes that I had never experienced before.
I went from working out and lifting 5 days a week to barely being able to hold my eyes open.
Weight was pouring on and libido and self-esteem went completely offline.

Nah girl, it’s peri-menopause and it comes after us HARD.
Once I realized it was my hormones and stuff was just weird right now, I set out to learn all about it. No one talked to us about this and prepared us for what to expect. Us Gen Xer’s (and you too, Millennials), all we knew about menopause is what we saw on sitcoms. It’s time to change that narrative and open up discussions around this new stage of life.
